Typical little brother reaction to big sis’s hug! LOL!!!!

After photographing Mercedes and Brandon’s e-pics, I just knew we were gonna have a good time on their wedding day!! When we first met, they had told me that their reception was to be held at the Goldner Walsh Nursery (greenhouse) in Pontiac and I was instantly intrigued..I mean, how cool is that?!?!?! And to find out that they have never hosted a wedding reception was pretty neat too! To be honest, I couldn’t picture how it would be laid out and such, but let me say, they didn’t disappoint! The place was GORGEOUS!! and OMG, there were about 5 million spots there to do some fun pictures, I think I suffered from a bit of sensory overload..LOL!!! And for this being their first reception, it was so organized and went off without a hitch! All in all, after a bit of rain early in the afternoon, the day was beautiful, Mercedes was gorgeous, Brandon was quite handsome, and it truly was a perfect wedding day!! Their ceremony was full of smiles, happy tears, and lots of love from all their family and friends. I had so much fun with you guys and now…on to the pics!!

There were a bunch of these cool painted rocks in a pile, so I told them to grab one that ‘fits’ them…Mercedes chose the cute little flowers which totally fits her! Brandon chose a blue circle that fit him. =)

Mike…mimic-ing Kristen…he did this quite a bit and it was hilarious! So was her reactions! <3

This series cracked me up..you can see the progression of Mike’s hijinks…first there is Kristen saying “You better not”…then you see Kristen smiling all nice for the camera, when she notices me laughing and looks over to Mike…Where he quickly abandons the “pose” and says “What?!?!” …LOL!! You guys are too funny!!

When I first met with Brian and Kristen and they told me they were having their wedding on Belle Isle, I can’t help but to admit I was really, really excited. I’ve seen tons of beautiful pictures done at Belle Isle, but I personally have never been there!! So the day of, OF COURSE there is wall to wall traffic on I-75 due to the wonderful construction (thank goodness I left an hour and a half early!!!!). So I stressed about the drive the whole way there, but once there, I was relieved..LOL! And I even managed to get there early, woo-hoo!! When Kristen arrived she looked stunning, she was full of “bling” and had the most awesome, yet uncomfortable shoes ever!! LOL!! But us girls always choose beauty over comfort, and you just couldnt go wrong with those babies!! Everything about the day just fell into place. We took tons of pictures at the casino, headed over to the fountain for a bit (which wasn’t turned on…what the heck Detroit!?!?!?) but we made due and had fun IN the empty fountain..LOL! After the pics and their beautiful ceremony, there was tons of good food, dancing, and just having a good ‘ol time. I also have to say, they had a pretty sweet pirate themed gift table…AWESOME!!!! And their friend also had a totally cool mustache tattoo on her index finger..LOL, so we had fun with that! When I left, I couldnt help but grab a quick shot of the D. Thank you guys for a great time!

You always know when the groom is up to trouble when he’s under that dress for a while!! LOL!! And Brian didn’t disappoint, emerging with a can of beer…hahah!

From the minute I arrived at the church…someone was making me laugh…and that is pretty much how the rest of the day went! Matt and Carrie are hilarious, as are all their friends and family! Our day started out at the Dominican Motherhouse in Oxford and then we eventually made our way down to downtown Pontiac. When I first met with Carrie and Matt, they had mentioned that Arts Beats and Eats was the same weekend as the wedding and I’ll have to admit, it was a bit worried…as in “OMG, where the heck am I going to park!?!?!?”….LOL!! But it wasnt a problem, the Lafayette Grande is a pretty awesome place and they had it all worked out! And what orignially caused me a bit of worry, turned out to be AWESOME since we headed into AB&E for some pics! Then, to my delight, an ice cream truck appears..and the guy acutally let Matt and Carrie go in his truck for some pics…holy awesome!!! LOL! So needless to say, I had a super fun day with you guys and thank you so much for having me be a part of your wedding day!!

so what do you do if you do not have “something blue”….Improvise with a blue pen of course!!! LOL!!!

Arts, Beats, and Eats!!!

Haha, the jeweler was trying to convince Carrie she needed this 6 bajillion carat ring…ok maybe it wasnt 6 bajillion carats but it was HUGE!

Umm..notice a cop theme with my pictures lately..LOL!! This one was by far the cutest!

ICE CREAM!!!!!
