September 3, 2010Ryann & Rachel – Married!!!!
August 29, 2010Ryann and Rachel are just one of those couples that you just can’t resist saying..”awwwww, they are SOOOOOOOOOO cute!!”…seriously, they are the cutest pair!! They had a beautiful early afternoon ceremony at one of my favorite spots, Addison Oaks. Everything went perfectly, although, the nice cool, fall like weather we had experience the whole week before, decided to go MIA and it was HOT! I mean, not a cloud in the sky, sun burning down HOT! But hey, it beats rain, so we’ll take it!! LOL! After their beautiful ceremony, we roamed around the grounds for a while having fun and taking lots of pics!! While editing your pics, I just can’t help but smile because I can really tell how happy you guys truly are! I had so much fun with you!! =) <3
Kyle and Courtney – Married!!!!
August 23, 2010So Courtney is BFF’s with my BFF since 2nd grade and because of this common denominator, we were hooked up when Courtney got engaged!! When I first met with Courtney and Kyle, we instantly hit it off and I just knew their wedding was going to be so fun. And man…they didn’t disappoint!!! I really felt like the 7th bridesmaid…just I didnt get to wear a sweet dress and had to lug around a heavy camera..HAHAHAAH!!!!! So this is the first summer wedding this year that the weather said rain…and it actually did rain!!! We had a TON of time (2.5hrs!!!!) for pics in between the ceremony and reception and we had planned to spend it strolling around downtown Ann Arbor and the UofM campus. So after the ceremony it was POURING and I was immediately SO bummed thinking WHERE are we gonna go!??! So we headed over to the covered shopping area first since and wouldn’t you know it, it stops raining! Yay!!!!!! So from there we made our way around AA on the partybus to all the spots we had in mind and had a great time! All in all the day was filled with a ton of laughter, a bit of happy tears, a large amount of fist-pumps, some inappropriate knee-touching, a lot of goofing around, a huge amount of the Captain and Crown Royal and as the theme song of the day went..it was all Dy-no-mite! LOL!!!! Courtney and Kyle, thank you so much for such a fun day!! Your wedding was so much fun and I just love you guys!!! ♥
Oliver and Elizabeth – Married!!!!!!
August 22, 2010Liz and Oli’s wedding was truly an International affair! For real!! Guests flew in from Belgium, France, and Canada, as well as many US states, just to name a few places! So as for the wedding day, the weather was perfect and everything came together so beautifully! Liz had filled me in to some of the details prior to the wedding and it is always so exciting for me to see the plans come to life! Their centerpieces each contained information about a country, state, or city that they both had visited together, which you could probably guess is quite a few!! (<<insert me here a bit jealous about that>> LOL!!!). We had so much fun taking pictures and their ceremony was short, sweet, and beautiful! One thing about their day that I really loved was listening to the speeches given during the toasts. How darn romantic is it that Oli literally followed liz around the world to vie for her love. I mean, thats the stuff you only hear about in movies!!! ♥♥♥. And, obviously, true love did find them and you can just tell how meant for each other they really are. Oli et Liz, vous deux êtes une telle personnes merveilleuses et je suis très honoré pour avoir été une partie de votre mariage. Je te souhaite beaucoup d’années de bonheur et d’amour ! Vous des types êtes le meilleur!! <<disclaimer, I totally used babelfish to translate..so I hope it says something nice…lol!!!!!!>>
Eric & Amy – Married!!!!!!
August 9, 2010Ahh, another beautiful weekend for a wedding!!! It was warm, but not excruciatingly hot like it was for Amy and Eric’s e-pics we did on the 4th of July. It was like 104 degree’s out and I thought at one point we were all going to melt..LOL!!! We started the day off at Amy’s parents house (which was gorgeous!) then headed over to the Wyndgate. We had a ton of time for pics (yay for that!! LOL!!) and we took full advantage. Their ceremony overlooked the beautiful golf course and went off without a hitch!! After that, the Wyndgate provided us with a bunch of golf carts and said to go out and have fun!! Let me just say, this course is VERY hilly…and those carts had some questionable brakes…which lead for some interesting driving..LOL! I am really surprised there was not an 8 cart pile up..hahahah!!!! After the pics, it was in to the reception where guests were treated to a VERY yummy dinner. The big hit of the night, I’d have to say though, was a guest appearance by Detroit Tigers mascot Paws. He practically got mobbed…it was awesome!! LOL!!! Have a great time in Aruba you guys!!!!!
Mike and Kristen – Married!!!!!
August 4, 2010I’ll start this out by quoting a bit from their father’s speeches. According to Kristen’s father, she’s always been a bit of the serious type…wise and mature beyond her years. According to Mike’s dad…well…They did their best with him…LOL!!!!! That really does sum up the both of them. They really do embody the whole “opposites attract” thing and they make it work so well! Their wedding was held up in beautiful Bay Harbor, MI. Their waterside wedding was gorgeous and the blue skies were abundant! After saying their I Do’s, we took some pics at the Inn and then headed over to the golf club. After making a grand entrance, the speeches given were emotional, heartfelt, and funny! After dinner, we were treated to a gorgeous Western Michigan sunset and we just had to go out and play in it..LOL! The night ended perfectly with a ton of great songs and dancing! Kristen and Mike, thank you so much for having me photograph your wedding, it was so beautiful and you and your family and friends were so great! ♥ ya!
Kelly and Mike – Married!!!
July 26, 2010I think I am just going to start adding this blanket disclaimer to all my weddings…”So the forecast called for an 80% chance of rain on Kelly and Mike’s wedding day and we didn’t get a drop, rather, we got bright blue skies, big puffy white clouds, and humidity!!”. Yep, that about sums up every saturday so far this year..LOL!!!!! So anyhoo, Kelly and I go way back…WAY BACK…how far back, I don’t even remember..its been that long..haha!! We went to school together, were band geeks together, and through the magic of a little site called Facebook, were reunited right around when she got engaged, talk about good timing! LOL! So when we met up, Kelly is wearing a Weird Al shirt and I think to myself..wow…nothing has changed!! Yes!! This should be a good wedding! Hahaha!! So fast forward to the wedding day and I get to the church early and hear the organist practicing the Star Trek: The Next Generation theme song. Nice! They had a beautiful ceremony, with some custom (and pretty funny) vows..such as…allowing Mike to listen to his heavy metal and to Mike not eating Kelly’s gluten free food! After some church pics, we headed out to Lindemann Elementary school to take some playground pics. That was a flashback since I went to that school and can very vividly remember playing on that submarine as a kid!! Then it was off to the reception hall where the Star Trek theme showed! The guest tables were not numbered, rather, they were named after iconic Star Trek characters and such with the head table naturally being “The Bridge”..LOL. Then after getting your table assignment, at the door of the hall was Captain Kirk and Spock to greet you in..nice! Then there was the cake…yea…I chucked a bit when I saw the cake topper!! All in all, it was a super fun day, I got to see some old friends I haven’t seen in many years. Kelly and Mike, it was my pleasure to spend the day with you and I had so much fun!! Congrats you guys!!! ♥

Steve and Hellen – Married!!
July 19, 2010Hellen and Steve are very good friends with my cousin Tony and it was at his wedding that Hellen had approached me and said “If and when my boyfriend proposes, you are doing are wedding!!!”. Well a few weeks later, guess who I hear from, Hellen!!! Steve wasted no time! LOL! So it was supposed to rain on their wedding day, and, like so many other times this summer, the rain never showed!! Yay! But we did have some wicked heat and humidity! They had a beautiful ceremony at St Mary’s Catholic church in Royal Oak and afterwards, we stopped at a few parks and 7-11 for a Slurpee run!! LOL!! It was HOT and those Slurpee’s were so good!! ahahaha!!! After baking in the sun for some pics, we headed off to the San Marino Club for some dinner and dancing. It really was a beautiful day and I had so much fun with all their friends and families! Congrats you two and Happy 8 year anniversary!!!! ♥

Nick & Jessie – Married!!
July 19, 2010I had never met Nick and Jessie prior to their wedding day since they live out of state. So I find the bride’s room at the church and scan around…hmm…no bride. Then in walks this gorgeous glamazon and the first thing I do is look at her feet and see she isn’t wearing heels…LOL!!! It is not often I feel short around other girls…so…yea… Jessie is tall (5’11″!!), beautiful, and a real sweetheart as I came learn. As I got to know these two throughout the day,it is so apparent that they really are meant for each other. Nick is just about the worlds biggest UofM fan (no really…I think he is..LOL) and as their friends and family said it best, these two truly were meant to be together after she witnessed a “post UofM loss Nick” and didn’t run away scared..LOL!!!! Honestly though, you could just tell how much they loved to be with each other, oh, and their fur-baby Wrigley…I was so excited when we made a pit-stop on our way to Wyandotte to go pay a quick visit to their little sweetie!! Their reception was held at the fabulous Arnaldos in Riverview..which is a gorgeous hall!! Nick and Jessie… It was truly a pleasure to be a part of your wedding, I had so much fun with you guys!! ♥
