Liz and Oli’s wedding was truly an International affair! For real!! Guests flew in from Belgium, France, and Canada, as well as many US states, just to name a few places! So as for the wedding day, the weather was perfect and everything came together so beautifully! Liz had filled me in to some of the details prior to the wedding and it is always so exciting for me to see the plans come to life! Their centerpieces each contained information about a country, state, or city that they both had visited together, which you could probably guess is quite a few!! (<> LOL!!!). We had so much fun taking pictures and their ceremony was short, sweet, and beautiful! One thing about their day that I really loved was listening to the speeches given during the toasts. How darn romantic is it that Oli literally followed liz around the world to vie for her love. I mean, thats the stuff you only hear about in movies!!! â™¥â™¥â™¥. And, obviously, true love did find them and you can just tell how meant for each other they really are. Oli et Liz, vous deux Ãªtes une telle personnes merveilleuses et je suis trÃ¨s honorÃ© pour avoir Ã©tÃ© une partie de votre mariage. Je te souhaite beaucoup d’annÃ©es de bonheur et d’amour ! Kevin and Kristen – Married!!!

I do not even know where to begin. Kevin and Kristen live in California but are Clarkston natives. A little backstory, about a week before they contacted me, I was telling a friend about how I would love to do a wedding where the theme was really “different” such as having skull decorations or a tattoo’d up bride, ect, ect. Low and behold, I get a call from Kristens mom telling me all about her daughters “El Dia de los Muertos” themed wedding. Now it was funny, because she prefaced it with “you might think this is a bit different” and as she went on and revealed the theme, I got SO excited!!! Back in my college days, my photojournalism class had actually gone down to Mexican town for the Day of the Dead celebration so I was very familiar with the traditions, the colors, and the all around fantastic-ness of it all!! and yea, I just made up a word..haha!! So needless to say, I was very excited to see how all their plans had come together, and let me just say, they didn’t disappoint!! There was so much symbolism (such as the hummingbird and peace sign on her bouquet to honor a few loved ones who could only be there in spirit), color, decorations, and all around joy and happiness (which is everything the Dia de los Muertos celebrates). It truly was a happy day. And to make it even better, they even brought a bit of that fantastic Cali sunshine with them because, I tell ya, the light was DIVINE today!!!!!! I really had a great time with you guys and your wonderful family!! =)

Jay & Chrissy – Married!!

So Chrissy and I “met” when I was signing Gabs up for some classes through the parks and rec (she works there). I’d say we instantly hit it off and when it came time to their engagement pics, I got to meet Jay and my wonderful assistant for the day, Chrissy’s mom!! We had such a fun time doing those pics and I knew the wedding would be even better!! So fast forward a few months and here we are, June 12. So, AGAIN, the forecast called for a rainy Saturday. From what I hear, there was a lot of praying going on and low and behold, um…NO RAIN!! Only downside was that it was very, very hot and humid!! But hey, it beats rain! LOL!! Due to a broken air conditioner, we had a last minute venue change, instead of sweating it out in the chapel, the ceremony was moved outside to the gazebo. Chrissy looked just gorgeous and I just love Jay’s reaction the first time he saw her. Their wedding was so fun and really was a…..nice day for a….White Wedding!!! (LOL!!!!!! and for those that aren’t in the know…White is their new last name..hence the reference to Mr. Billy Idol there..hhahaha!).

Ahhh, another wedding day that called for rain that never happened!! Â LOL!! Yay for that!!! Â I was fortunate enough to meet Jamie through on of my very best, and oldest friends, Heather (they are cousins!!). Â It’s always nice to be at a wedding where you know some of the guests..LOL!!! Â It was nice to see a lot of people I haven’t seen in a looooooong time!!! Â Jamie and Kevin were married in the St. Joseph Catholic church South Lyon. Â After their ceremony, we headed to a little park right next door to the church for some pics! Â It was nice and humid..LOL…but hey, that beats rain!! Â After that, it was off to the reception at the beautiful Crystal Gardens in Howell where everyone danced the night away!! Â Congrats you guys and thanks for having me be a part of your special day!!!

Nick and Amy – Married!!

Nick and Amy had a gorgeous Addison Oaks wedding!! The weather said 60% chance of rain…um..not good for an outdoor ceremony!! But, by some miracle, the rain completely skipped over Leonard, MI and the sun even peeked out for a few minutes!!! So needless to say, they had a fabulous ceremony full of lots of love and emotion. After that, we had tons of fun goofing around during pics. I totally love that Amy had a tea length dress which, originally, was a lot longer. BUT, due to the purchase of some fab-o shoes, she decided it would be an injustice to them to cover them with a dress all day, so she totally shortened the dress for the shoes…I love it!!! LOL!!! I had such a fun time with you guys and you have the best family and friends!! Â Enjoy your time in Cancun!!

Hahah, so we had decided that these deer had a HUGE crush on Johnathan, since they were pretty tolerant about our presence, and so we pretended to be the Crocodile Hunter while approaching them…well, Ok, so fine, I talked like Steve Irwin and Johnathan just acted it out…LOL!!!!!!!

I said do Spiderman and he obliged…it doesn’t get better than that..LOL!!!

Ok, so…..seriously…this pic just screams Monty Python to me…LOL!!!! I think its a combo the hair, outfit, pose, expression…everything….and bless his heart for doing it..HAHAHAHA!!!!

First off, don’t these kids have some cool names?!? LOL!! I’m a big name person and these three I love!! But besides that, can you believe that all three are under three!! WOAH!! (<-must be said like Joey from Blossom to get the full effect…LOL!!).

So um, yea, three kids under three, I think I needed a nap after …this session!! HAHA!! But they were great and to top it off it was Giselle’s third birthday today..HAPPY BIRTHDAY GI-GI!!!! =)

Happy Easter from our family to yours!! And just a quick little intro, since I didn’t update this on my site. Our little bunny Zero passed away during his neutering surgery about a month ago. Poor Gabs, well and me, were devistated. We decided to adopt our next bunny from a rescue and found the Midwest Rabbit Rescue out of Plymouth. They have so many sweet and cuddly bunnies looking for their forever homes and we had such a hard time choosing. Luckily, Jack and Sally (formerly known as Aiden and Lilly) chose us!! Never thought we’d have two bunnies, but they are just the sweetest little things around!! And of course, the renaming had to do with Gabs Nightmare before xmas obsession..LOL!!! Ah well, they seem to like it!!
