Mike and Kristen – Married!!!!!

I’ll start this out by quoting a bit from their father’s speeches. According to Kristen’s father, she’s always been a bit of the serious type…wise and mature beyond her years. According to Mike’s dad…well…They did their best with him…LOL!!!!! That really does sum up the both of them. They really do embody the whole “opposites attract” thing and they make it work so well! Their wedding was held up in beautiful Bay Harbor, MI. Their waterside wedding was gorgeous and the blue skies were abundant! After saying their I Do’s, we took some pics at the Inn and then headed over to the golf club. After making a grand entrance, the speeches given were emotional, heartfelt, and funny! After dinner, we were treated to a gorgeous Western Michigan sunset and we just had to go out and play in it..LOL! The night ended perfectly with a ton of great songs and dancing! Kristen and Mike, thank you so much for having me photograph your wedding, it was so beautiful and you and your family and friends were so great! â™¥ ya!

Mike & Jennifer – Engaged!!

It was a lovely day in the “D” yesterday, hoe-down and all..LOL!!!!!

First, we stopped at the Heidelburg Project…a very cool place!! I had heard about it but never actually seen it! Â For more info, check out their site: http://www.heidelberg.org

So this pic is one of those times I wish I had audio attached to the pic..LOL!! Said in the most sweetest little voice by Jennifer: “So Michael, where would you like to go take our engagement pictures today?”..LOL!

Then it was over to the DIA and the Detroit Public Library.

Mike actually proposed in front of this statue (Rodin’s Thinker) when it was being displayed in PA (it was PA, right?)..LOL!!!

and then it was off to Tiger Stadium!!

and then it was off to Campus Martius and a quick stroll through the Hoe-down to get to the riverfront!

and our final stop of the day, the church with the fantastic red doors!!

Sarah and Mike – Married!!

Sarah and Mike are the awesome couple that I photographed in Chicago. Originally, when she contacted me, I was booked on their wedding date (and I was bummed because they were going to have the wedding at the Beautiful botanical gardens in AA). But then, a few weeks later, she asked be about November 28th and I was available..yay!!! Turns out, instead of having a huge wedding, they decided to have a small, intimate wedding with around 25 of their closest family and friends and take a HUGE honeymoon to New Zealand!! Um, Awesome!!! So what can I say, just look at the pics, we are outside and NOT completely frozen at the very end of November. I have to say, I was SO happy the weather turned out as nice as it did!! It certainly let us “play” around AA!!! Their ceremony was held in one of the most awesome rooms ever, the “bubble room” at Vinology. Now I have to admit, it was definitly a challenge to be surrounded by so much wine and not have a sip..LOL!! But the pics are top priority and we want them in focus…HAHAHA!! But really, Vinology was so cool and so perfect for their wedding. It was romantic, beautiful, and unique. Sarah and Mike, I wish you many, many years of wedded bliss and I had SO much fun with you (both in Chicago and in AA!!!).

I met up with Mike and Sarah in Chicago over the weekend for a super fun engagement session!! Â I seriously have so many favorites it was hard to narrow it down!! Â This was my first trip to Chicago and undoubtedly, not my last!!

The “behind the scenes” of this pic is a little funny, because the newspaper vendor had no problem with us taking pics just as long as we didnt get the porn mags behind the counter in the shot..LOL!!!!!!!!

Hee hee hee, so this pic on the left creeeeeeeeps me out!! Â LOL!!! When I saw people “walking on water” I said to Sarah and Mike , ooooh lets go over there!! Â and Sarah starts telling me about the “face that spits water”….um NOT what I pictured..LOL!!!! Looks like a gigantic, demonic, kid looking over them!! Â And it was super creepy cause the eyes looked back and forth!!! Â Not cool! Â Hahahah!!! Â So we went over to the other side where there isn’t a face…much, MUCH better!!!
